In order to be admitted to the Breitner Academy talent is required. You need a Dutch HAVO diploma, an MBO diploma at level 4, or a foreign equivalent. If you do not have one of these diplomas, but are older than 21 years you can apply for regular admission and you are required to take a theory test.

Please note the language of instruction is Dutch.

Since only a limited number of students can take part in the courses each year, several admission examinations are held each year. You can apply for these examinations by filling out the application form. If you meet the admission requirements, you will receive an invitation at your home address provided.

The admission examination takes one day. You have to make two assignments at the Academy.  You show an clarify your recent work to the admission committee.

If you have already completed a Bachelor course at an Art Academy, you only have to attend an intake interview.
