Master of Education in Arts

The Master of Education in Arts is intended for graduates with a Bachelor’s degree or those holding a first-grade diploma from a teacher training centre in one of the artistic disciplines (fine art and design, dance, theatre, music)  and who  work in art education both in schools and extramurally. The course is also of interest to artists with several years of relevant working experience in art education. The Master of Education in Arts is taught in Dutch.

The programme challenges students to develop their expertise further on the basis of a personal view of study. The development of their creative capacity and of their artistic and didactic skills proceed in parallel during the course. They acquire these skills actively, and there is a permanent interaction with the professional field.
